Sonia Ponzo
Sonia Ponzo graduated in Psychology (MSc cum laude) at the University of Turin in 2014. She then worked for a year as a neuropsychologist in a Rehabilitation Centre for Patients with Acquired Brain Injury. In October 2015 Sonia joined KatLab and started a PhD at University of Hertfordshire, supervised by Dr. Paul Jenkinson and Dr. Katerina Fotopoulou. She is particularly interested in the vestibular system, body ownership and self-awareness (in both healthy subjects and right-hemisphere stroke patients), spatial processing as well as metacognitive processing of motor abilities. She has been appointed for a fixed-term Lecturing position in Biological Psychology and Cognitive Neuropsychology at University of Hertfordshire starting in January 2018.
